How is cash back amount calculated?
The cash back amount is calculated as 1.60% of all your debit card purchases or spends at merchant establishments.

Is there a maximum amount that one can get as cash back?
Yes. The maximum cash back allowed per month is Rs. 2,000 and per financial year is Rs. 20,000.

Do I need to spend a minimum amount to avail the cash back?
Yes. Your total spends using your DCB Platinum Debit Card at merchant establishments has to be Rs. 800 or more in a quarter to avail the cash back.

Are all kinds of purchases or spending included for the cash back calculation?
Yes. All debit card spends at merchant establishments are eligible for cash back.

When will I get the cash back amount credited in my account?
Cash back amount for a particular financial quarter would be credited in the first month of the subsequent quarter. For example: cash back amount for the Jan – March quarter would be credited in April.

Do I need to compulsorily maintain the Average Quarterly Balance (AQB) in my DCB Elite Savings Account to avail the cash back facility?
Yes. The basic criterion for cash back eligibility is maintenance of the required AQB of Rs. 100,000 in the account.
