Development Credit Bank (DCB), one of the fastest
growing private sector banks in India, inaugurated
three of its state-of-the-art branches in Delhi,
located in Chandni Chowk, Kondli and Kapashera.
Gautam Vir, Managing Director & CEO and
Praveen Kutty, Head - CBG inaugurated the Bank’s
branches, offering its customers an array of
customer friendly facilities in a contemporary
environment.
With the opening of these three branches, DCB
has expanded its network to 7 branches in Delhi
& NCR. The branches are spread across Delhi,
covering the commercial as well as the residential
areas of the region. They have been designed
to provide all the amenities of a model DCB
branch, in line with the Bank’s vision
of becoming the gold standard in customer service,
where the customers are invited to “feel
the difference.”
DCB, in Delhi, has always enjoyed the patronage
of a loyal customer base, comprising of a healthy
mix of mass and mass affluent segments of society.
This is a step forward in deepening these relationships
and attracting new customers, thus strengthening
DCB’s client base across the region.
Chandni Chowk, located in Central Delhi, is
a major business hub, known for its traders
community dealing with wholesale business of
all commodities. The branch will focus on this
community and the SME segment in this area,
offering loans of various kinds and business
accounts facilities supported by an array of
services. Skilled relationship officers have
been appointed to take care of the business
communities. The branch will also focus on foreign
exchange and trade finance business in this
area.
Kondli is situated in the eastern part of Delhi,
which is the extension of the phase III area
of Mayur Vihar. The branch here will focus on
the residential and HNI segments, offering a
range of loans along with savings account products.
The Relationship Management arm of the branch
will also focus on Mutual Funds and Life Insurance
products supported by advisory services. The
branch is conveniently located and provides
adequate parking space facilities for its customers.
Kapashera, which is in the Delhi-Gurgaon border
near the Delhi-Jaipur highway, is the first
developing industrial and trading market. Here,
in addition to serving the residents with personalized
touches, the Bank will also strive towards capturing
the SME segments and trading communities, offering
working capital and other loan facilities, along
with trade finance services. The branch will
provide doorstep-banking services such as cash
and cheque pickup facilities for the business
community clientele, which will be a new service
in this developing area.
All these branches have been designed in a way
as to service its clientele in a professional
and convenient manner. The branch is divided
into various service zones such as customer
service; loans; business accounts and trade
finance; teller; and other services, demarcated
by signages.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Vir said, “DCB

presence in the Western corridor of India, the
